Stone-faced retaining wall

This retaining wall was on a monumental scale to hold back the banking behind. The structure involved a massive amount of concrete, reinforcing steel and blocks before the stonework could even begin. Block pavers were laid in the enclosed space to make a car-parking area complete with concrete washing bay.
